Celtic are closer to announcing a new deal for Australian teenager, Daniel, Arzani. The youngster is expected to join the Hoops on a two year season loan deal from Manchester City. The 19-year-old have passed his medical and will be joining Breden Rodgers side in the Scottish league.

He joined premier league champions, Manchester City this summer but he will have to move out on loan to get regular playing time, which is where Celtic got the edge to sign him.

Arzani earn his name at the just concluded Russia 2018 world cup where he was the youngest player in the tournament when he came on as a substitute for the three group games. The former Melbourne City midfielder will now ply his trade in Scotland with Celtic for the next two years.

Celtic have negotiated the deal with Celtic and have a right to buy within the contract. Playing alongside countryman, Tom Rogic at Celtic will also help Arzani settle in very fast and Rogic has agreed to mentor the teenager during his time in Scotland. With Rogic on a new five years deal at Celtic, it means Arzani has a player to always look up to at Glasgow.

Breden Rodgers have exciting words about his new signing as he described him as “an exciting young player.” His versatile ability means that he can play as central midfielder and also as a wide man. This gives the manager the opportunity to try the youngster in several positions.
