Miriael Taylor

It is officially confirmed that Miriael Taylor is the second England u17 player to join Arsenal, having completing the signature of Gabby Ravenscroft in the past.

The move of the midfielder was officially announced on the social media and it very likely the ace will start the season with the development team.

Taylor was part of the England u17 squad that reaches the Euro finals this summer in Czech Republic. She featured in two out of three games in the group stage of the Competition against Norway and Netherlands.

The 17-year-old also feature in 13 games for Chelsea Ladiesā€™s development team last season and manage to net one goal ā€“ which is right said to be a good performance for a defensive midfielder. She was unable to feature in a single game during the Spring series but managed to feature in two games for Chelsea Ladies first team in 2016.

I personally think Taylor is such a quality signing and her dazzling foot work will be a key in the development teamā€™s midfield as Kelly Smith might have to reinforce the squad after some couple of players departed this summer.

It thought that they might be chances for first-team game in the future as Fara Williams is nearing the end of her football career, but this all depends of Pedro Losa secure another seasoned player to replace her.
