Zlatan Ibrahimovic is perhaps the most charismatic character in the world of football right now. He rarely speaks his mind out but when he does, it becomes a sensation. The PSG striker recently came out and expressed his views on Jose Mourinho’s struggles and why Chelsea would be better off keeping hold of their manager.

PSG are set to take on Chelsea in the Champions League round of 16 clash and Zlatan was asked to share his views on their opponents and his former manager Mourinho. Speaking with Sky Sports, Zlatan said:

“I have to be honest, I haven’t seen Mourinho in this situation where he’s struggling. Normally I am used to see him battling for the first and second place, so this is something new.”

On being asked if Mourinho would still be in charge for the last 16 clash, Ibrahimovic said: “I don’t really know how the situation is. I think it depends on the big boss, [Roman] Abramovich, what he wants. But I hope for Chelsea that he stays because we want to play against the best.”

There you have it, no one has summed up the Chelsea fiasco better than Zlatan as he has clearly suggested how Mourinho is the best person for this role and why Blues would want to stick with the Special One at least until the end of this season.

Lately, Zlatan’s future in itself has become a cause of concern as he has been siting a move to Premier League in near future. Clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal have been linked while a surprising move to Liverpool was also discussed earlier this month.

It is yet to be seen where he ends up playing his football next season, but he will be a force to reckon with wherever he chose to ply his trade next.
