In a dramatic turn of events, Zinedine Zidane has been named the new Real Madrid manager with immediate effect. Club President Florentino Perez decided to sack Rafa Benitez after just 25 games in charge.
Perez has turned back to his trustworthy guys Zidane, whom he has been grooming ever since his return to Santiago Bernabeu.
Following the official confirmation, Zidane and Perez posed for official photographs followed by Zidane’s first press conference as the boss of Real Madrid.
