Real Madrid have decided to part ways with Rafa Benitez and name Zinedine Zidane as their next manager, starting tomorrow.

The news was confirmed moments earlier by Real Madrid’s official twitter account. The account posted picture of Zidane and club President Florentino Perez posing for official picture, take a look:

Zinedine Zidane is the new Real Madrid Manager

Zidane has been handed a massive opportunity, not something, he truly deserves. He has only been in charge of Real Madrid’s B side and a stint under Carlo Ancelotti.

Perez is counting on Zidane’s mercurial abilities on the pitch to bail him out of the current mess which Benitez was unable to solve.

Mainly Real Madrid have become a squad led by egos in the dressing room, which are too big big for handle by anyone. Benitez was a different story, but now they will have to deal with Zidane.

Perhaps his achievements as a player and the respect he commands in the game will give every player in Santiagi Bernabeu a food for thought, before they decide to protest against the former World Cup winning legend.
