Daniel Sturridge could be on his way out of Liverpool after reports of a £18million bid from West Ham have surfaced in last few hours.
According to Brentwood Gazette, Jurgen Klopp is thinking of cashing in on the striker after fresh injury reports were confirmed as the striker looks set to depart from Anfield this month itself.
Klopp is keen to have a more regular striker leading his lines, be it Roberto Firmino or Christian Benteke.
Sturridge heading to West Ham?
Speaking in his press conference ahead of the FA Cup replay tonight, Klopp confirmed that Benteke has a future at Anfield regardless of his slow start to the season.
However, Klopp steered away Sturridge questions by claiming that the striker is working on his fitness and will be back as soon as possible.
Sturridge has only played 6 matches this season and has only feature din 24 of Liverpool’s 91 games since the start of 2014-15 season.
These are not impressive numbers especially for Klopp, who has the responsibility to steer this Liverpool side towards title and glory.
Perhaps the best bet will be to cash in on Sturridge and sign the likes of Alvaro Morata and Javier Hernandez, who have been linked with a move to Anfield in last few days.
