PSG have sensationally put a price tag on Marco Verratti ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports from Talksport.
As per the report, PSG will not stop Verratti from quitting Parc des Princes if the right offer is made. French Champions have put a £70m price tag on Verratti.
Likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United have all been put on alert as they have tracked the Italian for last 12-18 months.
However, Chelsea do hold the edge in this transfer battle amid Verratti’s fondness for Conte.
Earlier in the season, Verratti hailed Conte as the best coach he has worked with and would like to be coached by him in near future.
As per Football Italia, Verratti said: “I believe Conte is the best Coach I have ever worked with. He is a tactician who really focuses on the details and knows absolutely everything about his opponents.
“This is why it takes a little while to really understand what he’s asking of us. Having Conte as Coach is a big advantage for all of us in the Italy squad.”
Given these words, Verratti is certainly free to join Chelsea if Conte and Roman Abramovich can agree to splash £70million on the 25-year-old midfield maestro.
