A game of two halves for Manchester United as the first half was a pathetic display of lazy passing and no penetration. However, the second half saw Louis Van Gaal’s team press higher and dominate the proceedings as well as possession. In the end, the game ended on a 1-1 draw and saved the Red Devils from a potential slip-up in the Champions League.

Phil Jones – 6 – should have kept out the pen.
Marcos Rojo – 5 – Not a good outing, nothing going forward, hooked at half time.

Morgan Schneiderlin – 6.5 – Signing of the season for Manchester United.
Ander Herrera – 6 – Quite tonight, was on the ball but no creativity.
Jesse Lingard – 6 – Bright first half, showed ability to get in space.
Wayne Rooney – 6 – Decent outing by the skipper, should have scored with that header.
Anthony Martial – 6.5 – Villain turned hero, gave away the pen then headed home the equalizer.
Marouane Fellaini (46′) – 6.5 – Certainly changed the game since coming on.
Daley Blind (64′) – 6 – Van Gaal’s organizer at the back sorted out few things.
Memphis Depay (80′) – 5 – Looked bright in the little time he had.
