Tottenham ran riot against Manchester United in a 5-minute spell which saw Dele Alli, Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela score three goals to put Manchester United’s Champions League to bed.

The win has kept Spurs in touching distance with league title as they now trail Leicester by 7 points who won their game against Sunderland 2-0 courtesy a brace from Jamie Vardy.

Meanwhile at White Hart Lane, United held their own until the 70th minute but an injury to Tim Fosu-Mensah disrupted their momentum and United could not stop Tottenham’s barrage of attacks since then.

There were some brilliant individual displays on the night and we recognize them in our Tottenham vs Manchester United player ratings feature which sees a young 18-year old leave a lasting impression at White Hart Lane.
