Arsenal legend Tony Adams has teamed up with Thierry Henry to work with the Under-18 squad at Emirates, according to reports from The Sun.

Adams spent 19 years at the club and made 669 appearances for the Gunners. Widely renowned as Arsenal’s greatest ever player, Adams won four league titles, three FA Cups, two League Cups and the Cup Winners’ Cup during his time at Emirates.

His return is certainly a positive sign for the club and it promises to be a great experience for the young stars who will be coached and trained by one of their idols.

However, The Sun claims that Adams was initially not convinced with the idea or the responsibility coaching the Under-18 side, however, the 49-year old could not pass up the opportunity to work with his one time teammate Thierry Henry.

In the end, Adam could not say no to the prospect of bringing through the next batch of young players through and helping Arsene Wenger to pick from an insanely talented pool of players.

Former Gunners legend has been out of management since 2011 after stints at Wycombe, Portsmouth and Azerbaijani outfit Gabala.
