Jose Mourinho has been widely tipped to become the next Manchester United boss before the 2016/17 Premier League season. In a way, The Special One has a lot to prove after getting sacked by Chelsea the second time around.

However, something tells me that Mourinho will be even more determined to do well with United than he was with Chelsea in his second stint. One of Jose’s key mantra to success has always been his shrewd transfer activities.

Remember his time in Real Madrid, when he transformed the Los Blancos with signings like Angel Di Maria, Luka Modric and Mesut Ozil. So there is no reason why, he will change his style when he takes over at Man United next season.

Ahead of his much-anticipated arrival, we have listed down 5 players he could bring with him at Old Trafford. It does not make a pleasant reading if you are a Chelsea fan.

Romelu Lukaku – Manchester United need a presence up top, and perhaps they can do with someone who has proven Premier League experience. Well, who better than Lukaku to do that job. The Everton man has scored 16 league goals this season and seems to be getting better every week.

Although Mourinho and Lukaku do not see eye to eye, but the player has always maintained that he was the one who asked for a transfer and not Mourinho. Thus a reunion could be on the cards with United already linked with a 50million move for the Belgium International.

Antoine Griezmann – Talks of signing the French International was always ongoing in Mourinho’s final months in charge of Chelsea. It is evident that Jose is a fan and he would indeed return with an offer for the Atleti forward.

Chances may be slim for Manchester United to pull off this deal, but if they did so then it would be a huge kick to the teeth for Chelsea and their transfer plans.

John Stones – Another prime Chelsea target last summer and in the January window as well. It is suspected that Mourinho is a fan of Stones and the way he can play the ball out of back-line.

Thats is precisely the reason why Mourinho will go back with an offer for the Everton central defender, which may not be the best news for Chelsea and their summer transfer activities.
