All is not well between Chelsea and their goal keeper Thibaut Courtois after the Belgian revealed how he is not sure of a future at Stamford Bridge amid his first trophy-less season in a long time.

Speaking with Belgian broadcaster RTBF, Courois cited how he has to see out his Chelsea contract and will see how his future pans out. Courtois rued Chelsea’s exit from FA Cup and Champions League but remained hopeful of a Euro 2016 triumph with Belgium.

Courtois said: “I still have a contract for three years so we’ll see what Chelsea want too.”

“Until now I’d won a trophy every season. I tried to come back as strongly as possible from injury.

“It’s a pity that we’re out of the FA Cup and the Champions League but I’m going to try to finish the season well and have a good European Championship with Belgium.”

Not only that Courtois compared Chelsea’s training regimes to his national setup and believed Belgium are on a better level as compared to the Stamford Bridge outfit. The 23-year old feels Belgium have better players for each position and are physically superior to his club.

These statements have followed intense rumours of Courtois being linked with a move to PSG and Real Madrid in the summer.

According to Marca, Real Madrid have dropped their interest in signing David De Gea and are now keen to make the most of an unsettled Courtois and bring him to Bernabeu next season.
