Celtic secured a double treble last season but they know they will need to hone their game if they are to win another domestic treble with Steven Gerrard working towards improving Rangers.

However, Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers won’t sign players just for the sake of it and has generally been in search of younger players that have lots of room for improvement and development.

And, one man who could be a perfect bill in that area is 21-year-old West Brom man Oliver Burke.

The winger’s career took off at Nottingham Forest and was impressive with his pace, power and ability to find the net and create goals.

Such was his displays, German outfit RB Leipzig sign the Scotland international. However, from there his career suffered a decline with a move to West Brom not helping revive that potential.

He was of little importance last season for Albion, although it is crucial to note that a lot of his appearances were as a substitute.

Nevertheless, he should improve his skills, find a better position and be more productive when he has the ball and Rodgers could be the man to help him reach the top.

The former Liverpool man was integral to Raheem Sterling’s development and has several young players under his tutelage in Glasgow who are promising and always improving.

Burke could thrive under his coaching and playing in an attack-minded squad domestically and then getting the chance to play European games could aid his move upward.
