Steven Gerrard has been nominated for LA Galaxy’s goal of the year award for his striker against San Jose Earthquakes in a 2-2 draw. Like many of his goal, this goal had a touch of class written all over it when he received the ball on the edge of penalty area and he curled it in to the far corner.
It never takes a world class to find his mark regardless of the team he plays for. Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard decided to say good bye to his boyhood club and moved to the MLS to play for LA Galaxy.
Many wondered how the former English Captain would do in his new journey, well he silenced many of his doubters when he scored his first goal for LA Galaxy against San Jose Earthquakes.
Ironically, that goal has now been nominated for LA Galaxy’s goal of the season award. Here is the video of the goal:

Gerrard like his Liverpool days missed out on the chance to win the league title with LA Galaxy when his team were knocked out at the Semi Final stage of the MLS Championships. However, Gerrard has vowed to come back stronger next season and he would love to end his career witj one league title to his name.
