Antonio Conte’s efforts in strengthening his squad ahead of the coming 2017/2018 season has seen him spend over £130 million already in the transfer market this summer.

The Chelsea boss wants to retain the Premier League title he won last season – his first season in England- and he is also targeting the Champions League glory with the Blues as well as the EFL and the FA Cup.

In the light of that, he has already brought in Antonio Rudiger from Roma in a £32.4m deal, Tiemoue Bakayoko arrived from Monaco for £40m and Alvaro Morata joined from Real Madrid for £65m while Willy Caballero joined on a free transfer from Man City.

But it appears the Italian manager is not done yet as he has been linked with moves for more players.

According to SkySport journalist Kaveh Solheko, Conte has set his sight on signing Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk, Juventus left-back Alex Sandro while Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva and Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente are also included in his list.

Van Gijk wants out of Southampton but Chelsea will have to fend off competition from Liverpool for the signature of the Dutchman. It is believed Brazilian left-back Sandro, 26, remains Conte’s prime target while he wants Spanish forward Llorente, 32, as back-up for Morata after Michy Batshuayi didn’t impress last season.

Conte also wants competition at the right-wing for Victor Moses and he is targeting Candreva for that role.

Chelsea’s spending this summer could see them eclipse the £217.8m Manchester City have already spent though they too may still spend more.
