Call it a media fire or utter frustration on the part of the Legendary Scotsman, Sir Alex Ferguson’s return has been the most discussed topic among footballing circle in the last few hours.
The news has been covered by Sunday People, who claim to have an inside source about Sir Alex’s willingness to return to football management if his beloved Manchester United loses to Liverpool tonight.
The fact remains clear about how United have only 2 of their last 11 matches, which is not all acceptable after what Sir Alex had done for the club. Under the Scotsman, United won 13 Premier League title and, according to many he has enough seeing Van Gaal ruin his good work.
Sources close to the club believe that if United lose tonight, the board will make a firm decision by sacking Van Gaal, who has not been delivering results despite given the vote of confidence.
According to Sunday People, Sir Alex will not return to the dugout, rather, he will act as an adviser to Ryan Giggs, who is seen as the next best candidate to be the United manager. Giggs is yet to learn the key tacts of being a United manager, and that is where Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to help his former star.
With this possibility emerging out of the blue, Liverpool vs Manchester United has suddenly become an even greater spectacle to follow that it already was.
