Amidst all the excitement and euphoria surrounding Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Manchester United there is one man who is not entirely happy and he is none other than Ryan Giggs.
According to recent reports, Mourinho does not want Giggs to stay at Old Trafford next season as he cannot offer him a substantial position at the club.
Ever since Mourinho’s appointment, Giggs has been tipped to exit Manchester United and take over a full time job elsewhere.
The popular belief at Old Trafford is that Giggs will eventually be the long-term successor for Mourinho but for that he needs to prove his credentials of being a top-class manager.
According to latest odds from the leading bookmakers, Giggs is now the favorite to be the next manager at Nottingham Forest. Odds on him becoming the next Forest boss have been slashed, coming in from 33/1 to as little as 1/2.
Giggs was first linked with the Bolton job which was eventually given to Phil Parkinson. Forest are currently in League Championship and are eyeing a strong showing next season.
Their ambition have been given a new lift with Giggs tipped as the favorite to be their next manager. Giggs could bring an end to his 29-year old stay with Manchester United only to prove his worth to be their future manager in coming seasons.
