Brendan Rodgers dropped a subtle hint that there will be no new signings in the nearest future as he prepares his men for the Rosenborg challenge.
The Irishman was questioned about recruitment and while he confirms that Celtic wants to reinforce, he is currently concentrating on improving his squad from within and seeing his player become better.
“I enjoy the continuity of coaching and watching players improve. Of course, we want to strengthen the squad but at this point in the time, what’s most essential is building a mentality and quality to get through the qualification games.”
Celtic have been heavily linked with Daniel Azrani and have had three Hibernian turn down three bids for John McGinn.
With the transfer window still open for another month, Celtic must look at what’s available out there and assess their options.
Until then, they have a squad and talent pool big enough to pull off another Champions League qualification.
