The Bhoys will need to reinforce their squad this summer if they are to continue with their aims to win the domestic treble next season, however, Brendan Rodgers could also be prepared to send out the deadweight in his squad as he looks to free up potential funds.
According to a report in the Scottish Sun, Eboue Kouassi could head out of Celtic Park this summer, having failed to live up to expectation since his transfer 18 months ago. The midfielder joined in January 2017 for £3 million from Russian side FC Krasnodar but has been opportune to make just nine starts.
It is thought a loan move is the most likely option for the Ivorian, with several clubs across Europe thought to be interested, however, the midfielder is open to a possible permanent move.
The 20-year-old is desperate for regular pitch action and will find it difficult to break into the first team at Parkhead, especially with the prowess Scott Bain is displaying in the central park. A loan move could be a viable option, however, with Kouassi open to a permanent exit from the Scottish Champions could suggest he does not see his future in Glasgow and wants to reignite his career elsewhere.
doubt Scott Bain is an issue. if kouassi cant dislidge a keeper from central mid then he has issues…..
