Good news for Celtic, Wolves and any other club pursuing Abel Hernandez from Hull City.

Close to having his contract with the Tigers run out at the end of the month, the Uruguayan striker will be ready to sign for another club on a free this summer.

And now even though Galatasaray were said to have commenced advanced negotiations with him, new reports today claim that the Turkish club is yet to agree on a deal with the player.

News outlet Calcio Mercato claims that the first offer, which was submitted in the past few hours, was considered an insult to the 27-year-old.

The outlet claims that the negotiations could continue in the next few days, and recalls that Celtic, Wolves, Fiorentina and Torino are all actively in pursuit of the striker.

An Achilles injury prevented Hernandez from playing for most of the previous season, but he still managed to keep great stats, with eight goals and two assists in ten appearances in the Championship.
