Player bids former club goodbye as new deal is completed


Lyon still have pending agreement with Manchester City ace the signing of Celtic target Jason Debater.
Celtic have been in hot pursuit of the Belgian centre-back, who has once had a loan spell at Celtic Park and Debater, in search of regular playing time, is ready for an exit from the Etihad stadium.
But Lyon are ready to overthrow Celtic in the front line of the race to secure Denayer!s’ signature and the player is already in France.
The defender has agreed a four-year deal with the French giants, but according to Belgian daily Get Lactate Nieces, the deal is yet to be completed.
Indeed, Lyon still has several details to sort out with the Citizens before the deal can be officially done.
Denayer is ready to bid his goodbyes at the Manchester club without having made a senior appearance for the Premier League Champions.
