Arsene Wenger is keen on winning the Premier League title and returns to the Champions League next season and has been busy in the transfer market to achieve that.
The Gunners boss has already added Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette to his team and has hinted at making more signing.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez. The Foxes refused to let go of the Algerian international last summer after losing N’Golo Kante to Chelsea. But Mahrez is bent on leaving the Kings Power Stadium this summer, with Arsenal his preferred destination.
The winger was key to Leicester winning the Premier League in 2015/2016 season and was voted the PFA Player of the Year and Wenger, conscious of his potentials is keen on bringing him to the Emirates Stadium.
And after the player rejected an offer from Italian club Roma, the road is clear for Arsenal to sign him. And to fuel reports of his potential transfer to the FA Cup winners, Mahrez was spotted in a picture with Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin.
This will definitely give the Gunners fans some goose pimples and they will be hoping it is more than that as they will be eager the attacker in Arsenal jersey next season.
Of course, signing him will add more firepower to the Gunners final third.
