This summer transfer window has been an interesting one, but a new twist that has just been added has made it even a more interest transfer window to behold. The imminent Man United agreement for Lukaku has left Chelsea fans and coach really angry.
Chelsea are looking to outbid Manchester United for Real Madrid star James Rodriguez with the Blues preparing a £53million (€60m) for the attacker, per recent reports.
After falling far behind in selection perking order of Zinedine Zidane, Rodriguez has been strongly linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, with Paris Saint Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea keen on the player.
However, Spanish newspaper Don Balon has claimed that Chelsea are willing to pay the player’s valuation perked at £53m by Los Blancos. This will see them pip their arch rivals Man United.
Antonio Conte who is gutted by the Blues lack of activities in the transfer window and he is keen on bolstering his squad ahead of next season. His main target Romelu Lukaku prefer a move to Old Trafford, Conte is forced to quickly wrap up a deal for Rodriguez.
According to Don Balon, Chelsea are front runners for Rodriguez’s signature but the player has set his heart on a switch to Old Trafford. The agent of Rodriguez, Jorge Mendes is said to be pushing for a deal for his client away from Madrid.
