Real Madrid contract rebel Pepe is willing to consider a move to Chelsea after his recent frustrations in agreeing a new deal with the Spanish club, reports The Mirror.

Pepe, 33 wants at least a 2-year deal but given his age, Real Madrid are only interested in offering Pepe a one-year contract extension.

Pepe’s current deal expires at the end of the season and as he edges closer to becoming a free agent, he will be able to speak to other clubs from January 1 onwards about a possible switch elsewhere.

This dispute has given Chelsea an opportunity to make a late move to convince Pepe in moving to Premier League.

Antonio Conte is still desperate to bolster his defense, according to the report, and he is planning further reinforcements next year, whether it be in January or the summer.

Chances of Pepe signing for Chelsea – 1.5/5

As realistic and possible it may sound but I am certain of Pepe signing a new deal with Real Madrid, be it a one-year or a two-year extension.

We have seen too many Madrid players (Kroos, Ramos, Bale) use Premier League clubs as leverage to get new contracts at Bernabeu and this sounds almost similar to those stories.
