Paul Pogba cannot stay away from the headlines given his impending transfer to Manchester United. Every single day there is a new twist to this saga with Juventus and Man United both trying their best to convince Pogba to represent them next season.

According to the leading British tabloids earlier today, it has been reported that Pogba has agreed a €13m-per-year salary with United (nothing new) and will sign a contract with them this Friday.

According to Daily Star and renowned agent Vicent Rodriguez, Pogba will complete all the formalities by Friday before being unveiled as a Manchester United player. A lot has been said about the money involved in this transfer as well

Rodriguez shed some light to it with his tweet which read: “The Paul Pogba deal to #mufc could be done by Friday evening, the clubs are now finally talking.

“€145m [£121m] is the complete cost of the move. “For clarity, the €145m for Paul Pogba is inclusive of add ons, agent fees and transfer fee. Manchester United will also pay in instalments.”

Do I believe this Friday turn around?

As much as I want to believe this new angle to the story I cannot help but wonder that Pogba must be far out in the Sun to enjoy his summer vacations and any deal will not possible for at least next 10-15 days.

There was a reason why Jose Mourinho had given Ed Woodward until August 7 to complete this transfer. From the growing speculation in the media it looks a real possibility for Pogba to join Manchester United but it won’t come without making United fans sweat over his eventual arrival.
