Former Ranger manager Mark Warburton has stated that Celtic signing Moses Odubajo would be a great addition to the Celtic squad.
Warburton knows the qualities of a good Celtic player having played against the Hoops during his tenure at Ibrox.
However, the former Gers boss is better acquainted with the 24-year-old than most, having parted ways with £1 million to secure the defender’s signature when he was at the helm at Brentford.
This leads Warburton to believe that Odubajo would be a marquee signing for Brendan Rodgers, with recent report emerging that the defender has commenced contract talks with the Celtic boss if the Bhoys can complete a deal for the injury-plagued player.
“If he’s over his injury worries, is fit and ready again, then he can be an outstanding signing for Celtic,” Warburton told the Scottish Sun.
“An on form Odubajo can be the best right-back in Scottish football by a mile. I can’t pay him a greater compliment than that.”
