Neymar has put Premier League clubs on red alert after he was spotted in London’s Libertine Club last night, where PFA were hosting their awards after party.
Neymar’s presence in London has fueled fresh transfer speculations of Barcelona star’s summer move to England.
It is not a secret to anyone how the Brazilian star has struggled at Camp Nou in recent weeks and is even considering his future options.
Neymar has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United for last 12 months after player’s father and agent both confirmed United’s £140million bid to sign the attacker.
Although he resisted the temptation last summer, but amid his recent struggles in Spain, Neymar is keen to weigh in his options before he decides on his future.
His presence in London was all the more surprising after Barcelona were in action last night in their 6-0 win over Deportivo. The win has once again made them the favorites to win this season’s La Liga title, but it may not be enough for Neymar.
Brazilian skipper is also frustrated with how fans have reacted to his slide in form. In a recent poll conducted by Diario Sport, 71% of the Barca supporters would be happy to sell Neymar for his reported £150million release clause.
Add to that the tax fraud case has made things difficult for Neymar, who now wants to quit Spain in hope for a move to Premier League.
At present, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are capable of signing Neymar given the huge sums involved in his transfer.
Neymar’s presence in London will explain itself in coming weeks. For now, we can only get excited with the slim prospects of seeing him play in Premier League next season.
