This summer the Bhoys need to make a statement in the transfer window.

The club probably knows that domestic honours remains a certainty for the next few years but Europe is where they want to make a name for their self.

That has to reflect in their dealings this summer, then, and Tammy would be a good way to prepare for what’s to come.

Of course, Celtic have already got several attacking options at the club but with Nadir Ciftci off, a vacancy is open for a new forward.

Celtic can only afford a loan deal at the moment, but with 34-goals in his last two season, he’s surely good enough get as many at Parkhead and so even for a year it’d be worth giving him a trial and allow him to revive his career.

Offensive options consisting of him, French Eddy and Moussa Dembele would genuinely give sides in Europe something to ruminate on while Brendan would be perfect to get Abraham fulfilling his full potential.

This is a move Celtic should get sorted to underline their aims for the coming season.
