According to recent reports, Melbourne City’s Daniel Arzani could be set for a move to Celtic.

After Tim Cahill hanged his boot retiring from the Australian soccer team, Arzani is being touted to be the next big Aussie star.

The 19-year-old winger featured in the second half of the A-League season. He bagged two league goals and provided three assists.

Arzani also made a couple of exciting cameo appearances at the 2018 World Cup in Russia as he made a name for himself in world football.

The big news this week is that Celtic have negotiated with Manchester City regarding a loan deal for Daniel Arzani.

The story was broken by the Herald Scotland, who have reported the following:

Talks last night were still ongoing for Australian teenager Daniel Arzani, the youngest player at this summer’s World Cup. It is believed that a deal is close to being agreed as the 19-year-old moves from Melbourne City to Manchester City.

Celtic are confident of landing the player on a loan deal from City with talks ongoing as the Parkhead side look to get the deal over the line.

Celtic already have Australian international Tom Rogic on their books. One would assume he’d help Arzani bed in at Celtic.

Rather than joining Celtic for just 2018-19, rumours are also doing the rounds that Arzani could sign a 2-year loan deal with the Parkhead resident.
