Mourinho names Zlatan’s replacement, club wants minimum £50m to complete the deal

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move for either Everton’s Romelu Lukaku or Torino’s Andrea Belotti as a replacement for striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Despite reports of Zlatan agreeing a new deal with United, Mourinho is not wasting any time and is keen to bring a new striker at Old Trafford next season.

United have suffered due to lack of goals from their players as after Zlatan’s 17 league goals, next best if Juan Mata with only 6 goals.

Mourinho has earmarked Lukaku and Belotti as both of the strikers have crossed the 20-goal mark for their respective sides.

Belotti, who is also reportedly a target for Arsenal and Chelsea, has scored 26 goals in all competitions so far this season whilst all in England are aware of the talents of the Premier League Golden Boot favourite at Everton, having bagged 24 in all competitions so far.

United will need to spend beyond £50m if they want to sign either of the strikers. Lukaku has been quoted at £60m from the Toffees, while Belotti has a release clause in the region of £100m.

Antoine Griezmann is another player who has been linked with a move to United in the summer, however, if Zlatan decides to stay at the club we could only see one of these 3 players wear the red of Man United.
