Medical schedule: Ace jet in to London for Chelsea medicals, deal will be sealed within days


Chelsea target Tiemoue Bakayoko has shared a picture of himself making his way to England confirming the speculation that he would be joining Chelsea, according to report from Daily Star.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is said to worth £40m and Chelsea are ready to meet his valuation. The Monaco midfielder will be joining after both clubs agree on a £40m transfer fee.

The midfielder is scheduled to arrive in London ahead of a medical on Friday. On Thursday evening Bakayoko posted a picture of a Eurostar carriage to Snapchat with his ticket visible, as is his bag and newspapers.

Bakayoko will become Antonio Conte’s third major signing of the summer following the £34m arrival of Antonio Rudgier and free transfer of Willy Caballero from Man City.

One of Sky Sports veteran reporter Kaveh Solhekol said the Frenchman would be arriving shortly.He explained:

“Bakayoko to Chelsea from Monaco almost done. £40m fee agreed. Medical soon.” He further stated that “Likely to mean [Nemanja] Matic is leaving.”

Bakayoko who is currently injured will be missing the opening matches of the new premier league season when he joined.

News broke out early this week that Manchester United were also interested in signing the french midfielder after beating Chelsea to the signature of Romelu Lukaku.
