To be honest with you all, I had not heard a much about Marcus Rashford. All I had gathered from the papers that he is a young striker, who has the potential to be a great star one day. Is very direct and takes his chances efficiently.

Despite the positive reviews, when Anthony Martial got injured prior to the game, and Rashford was slotted in to start, I had very little hopes of a United win, let along goals from the 18-year old striker.

But the young man proved me and other millions of fans wrong with a sublime performance tonight. His goals were a typical centre-forward goals and it never looked like, he was playing his very first game for Manchester United.

His positional sense was great and his finishing was amazing. Speaking of goals, here are his goals from the game tonight where he scored two vital goals to send United to the next round of Europa League.

Rashford score his first goal after Juan Mata had kept the ball alive and pulled it back, and there was Rashford waiting to pounce in and he did just that.

That goal had put United level on the tie and ensured that they were not going out tonight. At that time, extra time looked like a possibility, however, Rashford had other ideas.

The academy bred striker scored his second goal of the night to give United the much deserved win and took them through to the next round of Europa league competition.

If there was ever the best way for this young striker to announce himself to United fans, then he has just done that. Scoring two match-winning goals on debut for your club in the most important game of the season, it does not get any better than this.
