BREAKING: Manchester United will take on FC Midtjylland in Europa League Round of 32 clash

Manchester United have been drawn against the Danish club FC Midtjylland for their Europa League round of 32 clash. It will be the first time United will face Midtjylland, who were formed back in 1999 and were the runner ups in Group D this season.

Danish club finished second to Napoli in Group D and they beat Club Brugge to make it to the round of 32 action of the Europa League. Manchester United for their part knocked themselves out of the Champions League and are now part of Europa League action.

It is nothing sort of a humiliation for the Red Devils who have not progressed under Louis Van Gaal in last 18 months. One gets the feeling that if Van Gaal fails to deliver in the Europa League despite getting drawn against FC Midtjylland, it could be curtains for the Dutch manager.

First leg for United’s round of 32 game will be played away at MCH Arena in Herning on Thursday 18 February 2016, with the second leg to be played a week later at Old Trafford on Thursday 25 February 2016.
