West Ham have confirmed the signing of former United striker, Javier Hanandez for £16m for and will make him their best paid player with a £140,000-a-week salary. West Ham signed the player from Bayern Leverkusen on a 3-years-deal to help solve their goal scoring problem, according to report from Daily Mail.

Now that he deals have been announced after passing a medical at London Independent Hospital, Hernandez will now fly out to Germany to meet up with boss Slaven Bilic and his new team-mates at their pre-season training camp.

‘I am very happy to join West Ham United,’ he told the club’s website. ‘For me, the Premier League is the best league in the world and when the opportunity came, I was desperate to sign for this club. I am desperate for the season to start and to help the team achieve all their objectives.’

Hernandez will be hoping to better his tally with United in his first time out in England when he scored 59 goals in 157 appearances. The 29-years-old now have the opportunity to rewrite his story in England and help West Ham achieve great things.

So many quality strikers are been signed to the Premier League this season, so I personally think it right said that lot of goals will be scored next season and the top scorer list will be a dog fight next term.
