Genk technical director Dimitri de Conde has told Manchester United that a transfer move for exciting youngster Leon Bailey will cost them somewhere between £17-21million.
Although Genk were initially keen on keeping hold of Bailey but after constant inquiries from Manchester United, the Belgian club are now ready to negotiate over a potential January transfer.
The 19-year-old winger is seen as one of the best options in European football and has been tracked by the likes of Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Liverpool.
Man United do hold the advantage right now as they had previously negotiated with Genk over Bailey’s transfer. Jose Mourinho could be tempted to make a move in January if he is given enough money to spend on.
United have also completed Victor Lindelof’s signing in a 42million which is expected to be confirmed later this week.
