Despite winning Champions League with Real Madrid last season, Gareth Bale is ready to force his way out of Real Madrid and join Manchester United this summer, according to reports from El Confidential.
Bale to Man United is not a new story, this will be the third time Old Trafford giants are bidding for the Welsh star after failing in 2013 and again last summer. However, Premier League giants are certain that Bale will sign for them after the information handed to them by their Spanish contacts.
One big factor in Bale seeking a way out of Bernabeu is Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to extend his stay at the club. Bale believes that he will never be the main man until he plays in Ronaldo’s shadows.
That is the precise reason why Bale is considering the offer United made last year and has even asked his agent to work on his Premier League return. Jose Mourinho is aware of the possibilities and has set aside the €120million for Bale from his €250million transfer budget.
United are still in the hunt for a prolific right winger who can improve their attack and Bale is one of the best in that role at the moment.
While the deal sounds feasible on paper, it requires serious push from Bale and insane money from Manchester United to make it happen.
Chances of Bale joining Man United – 2/5
I would have rated the story higher had it been Cristiano Ronaldo, given his love affair with Manchester United. However, Bale does not hold any such affection for The Red Devils and they will not be the only ones chasing Bale’s signature.
YES, factor of moving back to Premier League and stay closer to the family are a factor but is Bale ready to walk out on Real Madrid right now? I am not so sure.
One thing is certain, if Bale agrees to join Manchester United, money will not be a factor and he may break his own record of being football’s most expensive player.
