Chelsea playmaker walks out of training, Manchester United favorites to sign him in the summer

Manchester United are about to add another quality young player to their established academy after Chelsea’s Domingos Quina edged closer to joining the Red Devils next summer.

According to The Times Quina, who joined Chelsea three years ago is frustrated at the lack of opportunities at Club’s  youth level. So much so, the player walked out from the training and now has officially quit the club.

Chelsea were growing frustrated with Quina speaking with other clubs to secure a summer move. The frustration reached a boiling point where the player wants no further contact with Chelsea and has already agreed a move to Manchester United, according to The Times.

The 16-year old is a technically gifted play-maker who loves to play in behind the lead striker. Quina comes from the famous Benficia academy which has produced some of the best players in recent history.

If signed, Quina will be a great addition to Nicky Butt’s already talented academy. United were tracking Quina for months as they see a potential first team player in the the young midfielder.

According to the reports Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City were also in the race to sign him but United moved quickly and now have all but secured Domingos Quina’s signing.
