Having followed the game for more than eight years, I have to say, I am really astonished at the way Manchester United board are showing their resounding faith in Louis Van Gaal.

According to the latest report coming in, Ed Woodward and other top officials are still backing Van Gaal to turn things around at Old Trafford. Their decision is a real puzzle after seeing United go without a win for last 7 games in a row.

According to telegraph, Times and leading journalist Paul Smith, United board have changed Van Gaal’s mind twice this season about resigning from his post.

Will Louis Van Gaal be sacked?

Paul Smith has confirmed that Van Gaal was eager to quit the club following 2-0 defeat against Stoke, however, a meeting with Ed Woodward changed his mind. If that was not enough, Van Gaal has been given assurances that he will not be fired regardless of the result against Chelsea tonight.

Dailymail were convinced that if United lose tonight, Van Gaal will hand over his resignation and walk away. Well, that report needs a double check now after United’s board resounding faith in their manager.

Earlier in the month, Van Gaal hinted that he no longer has a clue about how to turn things at Manchester United. Well if that is the case, then club must part ways with the manager regardless of his pedigree and success in the past.
