Manchester United’s brief first half push to overturn the first leg 2-0 deficit was jolted with a moment of brilliance from Philippe Coutinho’s solo goal. Liverpool got the better of their arch rivals with a 3-1 aggregate score as they enter Europa League quarter final draw.
Louis Van Gaal must prepare himself for a lot of stick from the media and fans after his tactical blunders (playing Lingard as the number 10, starting with Fellaini & Varela) saw United striving for quality in the final third.
