No matter how much I avoid posting Paul Pogba to Manchester United stories, there are always concrete rumours surrounding Frenchman’s return to Old Trafford.
Earlier today SunSport reported that Man United have submitted a €60million British Transfer Record bid to lure Paul Pogba away from Turin this summer.
Newly appointed manager Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of Pogba’s abilities on the ball and is keen to bring him back to Old Trafford.
Spanish reports have always linked Pogba with a move to Barcelona, however, United are quietly confident of sealing a move for their old boy.
The fact that Pogba left on his own terms, he still does not hold any grudge against the club or Sir Alex Ferguson so Ed Woodward will not have to go begging to sign the player this summer.
Juventus are resigned to the fact of keeping hold of Pogba as the 23-year old midfielder is destined to achieve even greater things in football. Despite winning three Serie A titles on the bounce, Pogba is constantly linked with a move away from Turin.
Likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, PSG and Real Madrid are also credited with an interest for the French golden boy but Manchester United have made the first move to sign him with their €60million offer, which is currently being considered by Juventus.
Pogba will represent France at this summer’s Euro 2016 where he is expected to be one of the stars of the tournament and if he gets going, France could replicate their Euro 2000 success where they won the whole thing in their own backyard, 16 years ago.
