Manchester United have been joined by Barcelona to sign Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Dele Alli, according to reports from Daily Mirror.
The Red Devils believe a £70million fee will be enough to lure the Englishman at Old Trafford to complete Jose Mourinho’s overhaul next summer.
Real Madrid are also weighing a mega summer bid for Alli after being cleared to sign new players.
Alli’s Premier League dreams gives United the lead
Man United, however, are confident of signing Alli ahead of the La Liga giants as the player had expressed his interest of staying in Premier League.
Alli has recently snubbed an astronomical £800k weekly move to China and wants to win the Premier League in coming seasons.
Chances of Alli signing for United – 2.5/5
Despite being strongly linked with Man United, Jose Mourinho’s team may have to wait for a couple of seasons as Alli has recently signed a long-term contract with Spurs and I do not see him joining United or any other team next summer.
