Arsenal fans are ready to pounce on any latest news regarding Riyad Mahrez move to the Emirates. The last heard was his presence in London airport. Mahrez was in action as Leicester defeat Celtic on penalty shoot-out in the international Champions cup.
According to talkSPORT presenter Georgie Bingham, the Algeria international was on board her flight to the capital following the match, along with fellow Foxes man Kasper Schmeichel.
Even after it was stated that both were on a media business with Leicester, Arsenal fans are believing something could still happen this summer. Leicester are holding out for £50m for the Algerian attacker but Arsenal are not willing to meet his valuation.
Italian club Roma have also shown interest in the Fox attacker with Coach Craig Shakespeare confirming Roma have submitted a bid for the player. The bid has been rejected and it’s reported to be around £35m.
Mahrez favors a move to the Emirates but is still expecting Arsene Wenger to come all out for his service by matching his valuation. Arsenal is expected to bid for the player before the end of the transfer market.
