Louis Van Gaal and his entire coaching team has been sacked by Manchester United, according to reports from Sky Sports and Daily Mail.
According to the trusted journalist Mark Ogden Van Gaal was sacked at 8:45 AM (GMT) earlier today after a meeting at club’s Carrington training ground.
The announcement seemed like a formality after Van Gaal failed to lead Man United to Champions League football next season. United finished 5th last season behind Manchester City only on goal difference.
Despite leading the club to their first FA Cup glory in over 12 years, Van Gaal has been shown the door by Red Devils with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho set to take charge at Old Trafford in coming few days.
Despite these concrete reports, we are still waiting for an official word from Manchester United who are buying their time in announcing the news to the world football.
According to BBC, United will make an official announcement at 1:00 PM (GMT) later today where Mourinho’s appointment could also be announced.
Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand just tweeted about Van Gaal’s departure and who will take over at Old Trafford next season, take a look
