Manchester United fans are holding their breath for Louis Van Gaal’s exit from Old Trafford, be it before the end of this season or later in the summer. Jose Mourinho has been linked to take over at Man United, but no official announcement has been made so far.

However, The Red Devils dropped a major hint earlier today when they released a video for their 2016 pre-season tour to China later this year.

United are scheduled to go on a 8-day tour to China in August where they will play Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund. Ahead of their visit to China, a promotional video was launched which featured every player at the club but there no sign of Louis Van Gaal.

Take a look at Manchester United’s 2016 pre-season promotional video:

Louis Van Gaal’s omission has come as a massive hint about club’s ambition in coming weeks. Just a year ago, Van Gaal featured heavily in United’s 2015 pre-season tour video.

This season has been a terrible one for The Dutchman which has seen The Red Devils stuttering to finish in the top 4 this season.

According to renowned journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Mourinho is certain to become the next United manager, with only an official announcement pending from the Old Trafford club.

As for Van Gaal, his work with United’s youth has been commendable but it was purely circumstantial after injuries to senior players. At present, Van Gaal is certain to get the sack with a new man in charge of the club before the start of next season.
