Liverpool’s highly rated winger Sergi Canos has agreed to extend his loan spell with Brentford until the end of current season, May 2016.
Canos is product of La Masia and joined Anfield in 2015. He was immediately sent on loan to the Championship side and was an instant hit. His loan spell was set to end later this month, however, both the clubs agreed to extend his stay until May 2016.
Canos was delighted at the deal and tweeted a message to his supporters saying “Proud to say that I’m staying at Brentford until the end of the season. Thanks for all the messages”

Canos has impressed his current manager and teammates with his ability to change the game in an instance. Furthermore, his willingness to adapt and learn is a welcome sign among the current crop of players.
He is certainly one to watch out for Liverpool in coming years. It is expected that Klopp will assess Canos when he arrives back to Anfield next season and will decide whether he is ready for first team action or he will have to spend another season out on loan.
