It was a breakthrough moment for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team who went as the underdogs against Borussia Dortmund and came away with a vital 1-1 draw and the all-important away goal.
Divock Origi scored game’s opening goal, which was canceled out by Mats Hummels with a towering header. On a night when Liverpool were expected to be thrashed, they held their own and showed real signs of progress under Klopp.
Unlike their recent games, no Liverpool player could have been pointed or blamed for a poor night, they stuck by as a team and now have a real chance of qualifying to this season’s Europa League semi final.

Mignolet (6.5) – Came out and dominated aerial balls, a pleasant sight for The Reds.
Clyne (6.5) – Kept Reus in check all night and was disciplined in his forward runs as well.
Sakho (6.5) – An error free night for the Frenchman who dominated Aubameyang all night.
Lovren (7) – He gave his sweat and blood for his team and earned a vital result.
Moreno (6) – He was the big question mark on the night and came away without any massive error.
Henderson (6) – Before his injury at half time, he held Liverpool’s midfield together.
Can (7) – Liverpool’s best player on the night where he constantly held off Dortmund’s attacking threats.
Lallana (6.5) – Bright on the attacks and came back to help his team as well.
Coutinho (6.5) – He was limited in terms of opportunities but when he had the ball, he looked the part.
Milner (7) – Energy and Milner must be synonyms in some dictionary coz he was up and down throughout the night.
Origi (7) – A breakthrough performance from the young Belgian who played up top and scored the vital away goal.
