Liverpool are the odds on favorite side to sign Inter Milan’s out of favor striker Gabriel Barbosa, according to reports from The Mirror.
The report claims that Jurgen Klopp is keen to give Gabigol (fondly known as) a chance to show his worth to Liverpool, after being frozen out at Inter Milan.
The Brazilian forward has not made a single start and has played just 36 minutes of Serie A football. Klopp is set to lose Sadio Mane due to AFCON in January and wants to sign an attacker as a potential back-up.
Coutinho’s role in the transfer
Mirror understands that Philippe Coutinho tried to broker a deal for Gabigol last summer before his move to Inter Milan and is once again advocating for Liverpool to make a move for the highly-rated striker.

For some odd reason, I see thing transfer going through as it will be a short-term fix with Liverpool nothing to lose from this transfer, however, if it works The Reds could be in line for a spectacular transfer next summer.
