Liverpool 1-1 West Brom Player Ratings

Jurgen Klopp must be a happy man right now after he saw his young and drastically changed team put up a good fight against West Brom. The 1-1 result on the night was a good one considering how West Brom took the lead but Klopp’s young guns were able to put up a fight and make a comeback.

Leko’s goal was canceled out by a superb solo effort from Jordon Ibe. On the wake of Liverpool’s final game of the season, we take a look at the best and worst rated players following their 1-1 draw against West Brom.

West Brom Player Ratings vs Liverpool

Foster (6); Olsson (5.5), Yacob (5), Evans (6), Gardner (6), McClean (5.5), McAuley (6), Fletcher (6.5), Dawson (6), Rondon (6), Leko (6)

Apart from Ibe’s bursting run, West Brom’s defense was largely untested as Liverpool only had a towering but less than mobile presence of Christian Benteke. The Potters gave a good account of themselves and will hope to build on their displays this season.

Man of the MatchCameron Brannagan ran the show for Liverpool tonight with over 92% passing accuracy and controlled play from midfield. Brannagan has been tipped by Jurgen Klopp to have a huge impact on Liverpool next season and we saw it tonight why he is seen as Liverpool’s future in coming seasons.
