The twitter has been set agog after news surfaced on the social media that Liverpool are edging closer to completing a move for RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita.
Twitter is known for all sorts of news and rumors during transfer markets, with many ending up not seeing the light of the day. But Liverpool fans may finally have something to cheer about if Graeme Kelly is to be taken seriously.
Kelly, known for relating only reliable news on his twitter account, appeared to have revealed the latest about the midfielder’s move to Liverpool.
In his response to a question he was asked as regards Keita’s transfer to Anfield, Kelly said: “All I know is it’s close mate. Real close. I will know more on Friday pal”.

The news cannot, however, be taken lightly giving its source. Besides, this is coming just a day after the Gabon international made it known that he is keen on joining the Red Devils after liking a mock-up picture depicting him in a Liverpool shirt on Instagram.
Former BBC journalist Ben Smith also posted on his twitter handle that “(the deal) should start to gather momentum next week.
If the deal is completed in time, Keita could team up with Jurgen Klopp’s men for their pre-season tour in Hong Kong and Germany.
