Media frenzy has put a great deal of pressure on Jurgen Klopp to succeed

Jurgen Klopp is indeed a charismatic manager and more than that an influential man to be in a dressing room to lead his players to achieve positive results. Klopp has been made an outright favorite choice for the vacant Liverpool manager job and despite his successful track-record, he has been put under an enormous degree of pressure by the media ahead of his move to Anfield.

Klopp has been seen as the miracle worker, who will turn things around for Liverpool in an instance but the bigger picture is beyond this point. Yes, Klopp is one of the best managers in world football at the moment but even he will take time to rectify the situation at Anfield. There are lot of under performing stars at Liverpool who need to be sold and proper replacements have to be brought in.

More than the players, it is a matter of belief which is lacking among Anfield faith-fulls after years of barren spell where trophies have been hard to come by. Suddenly all of that has been made to go away with the news of Klopp taking over the reigns for the Reds. It is surely a lot to ask from the man who led Borussia Dortmund to back-to-back Bundesliga titles and to a Champions League final.

What Liverpool fans need to understand is that, he will not turn things around within weeks and he needs to be given enough time before real expectations are being drawn from him. However, the media frenzy surrounding Klopp’s move to Liverpool has already put a huge degree of pressure on him to win something in next 12-18 months, which can only become a recipe for disaster for both Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool football club.
